A midweek bus trip to Aberdeen with your mates would be the perfect medicine to get over Sunday’s result in the Glasgow Derby but with no fans at football or in the pub to talk about the game and the fallout from this season it’s hard to get yourself up for the game. Like so many I spent Sunday evening at home wondering how we have fallen so far so quick.
All the talk in the last day or so has turned to the European Super League proposal so it was interesting to hear John Kennedys take on it at the press conference today and he also reflected back on Sunday’s defeat and looked ahead to Aberdeen.
It may be a dead rubber game with no silverware to compete for but these players should have pride when pulling on the jersey and it was positive to hear Greg Taylor echo that today when he spoke to the press.
With Dominic McKay arriving yesterday after sitting with the other board members at Ibrox on Sunday, I hope he comes out and gives us some details on the direction the club are taking no matter what color his suit or tie is while we wait for the appointment of a first team manager.
The sooner the better the manager is announced with no white smoke on Eddie Howe we will now have to listen to endless talk of Keane and even Mourinho now he has got the sack from Spurs.
