I chatted to Tommy Sheridan today for the Celtic Soul Podcast and he was in defensive manner when it came to Neil Lennon as we talked about the disappointment of Wednesday night and the push for 10IAR.
Politics, Scottish independence, growing up in Glasgow, Covid 19, George Galloway, Junior Football, Family and Big Brother were all discussed.
Tommy has always been a big supporter of Neil Lennon as a person, player and now as manager in his second stint at Celtic. Lennon has come under pressure after the team’s performance on Wednesday night and his comments after the game.
Tommy is of the opinion that many of the fans who are complaining about Lennon as manager have been waiting for him to fail so they could jump on him but the same people were quite when Lennon was successful in Rome and domestically where he has won everything.
We chatted about the clubs signing policy in recent years and who is calling the shots? yes we have had plenty of success with our buy cheap, develop and sell on if we fail to reach the Champions League but we have had so many players coming in to warm the bench or to go back out on loan before moving on.
