We join the conversation with US based Celtic fan Johnny Vaughan in part two of his interview on the Celtic Soul Podcast as he talks about current Ireland manager Stephen Kenny, who he played under during his playing career.

His passion for Celtic shines through as he chats about his long trek to follow Celtic in Europe from the States and reminisces about Munich away and the characters he met including gate crashing Celtic training in the old stadium and meeting the players.

Johnny would write letters to More than 90 Minutes, Celtic Fanzine long before social media killed the art of correspondence from far away and it was nice to chat about the early years of the fanzine.

I could not have him on the podcast without chatting about the US elections and how some from the Irish diaspora and immigrant communities have changed their traditional voting habits as they succeed in business and life in the land of opportunity.

Johnny also spoke passionately about Derry singer songwriter, Declan McLaughlin who blew the doors off his pub with his band when he first toured America and thanks to Declan for playing out the Podcast with Freedoms not a T-Shirt, a quality tune.
