Are Celtic back with a Bang?

news

I thought there was a swagger about Celtic on Saturday especially in the second half, a swagger that has been missing for most of the season. The MSM would like to concentrate on the Bang! Outside Celtic Park rather than what happened on the pitch. If they took their heads out of their royal arses they could have enjoyed what was happening inside Celtic Park as the Celtic players entertained us and treated us to six goals.

The performance was a nice distraction from life in lockdown which has been made harder with every Celtic defeat or the frustration of watching an under performing team capable of much more. Every player who starting against Livingston can be happy with their overall contribution and there won’t be many moans if the caretaker manager names the same starting 11 for the Cup clash.

No fans will be calling for Scott Brown to be replaced by Ismaila Soro this time around and Greg Taylor should keep his place but the only worrying news was to see James Forest leave the field injured. His return from injury has been nothing but positive and Jonjoe Kenny who took along time to settle into the last game against the Newco should be more assured with James in front of him come next weekend if passed fit.

Callum McGregor also looked back to himself against Livi and this can only be another positive. Of all the substitutions who came off the bench, Ryan Christie made the most impact and he will be trying to impress in training this week to try force his way into the starting 11 after he has left us disappointed too many times this year with his misfiring in front of goal.
