With the Ultra scene growing throughout Scotland and beyond the BBC have made a 3 part documentary on featuring clubs throughout the Scottish leagues from the SPFL to Non League. From young kids to older fans who are involved in the sub-culture.
Michael Pringle has travelled Europe for decades watching football and has a good knowledge of the Ultra scene and has wrote about it in More than 90 Minutes Celtic Fanzine for 20+ years. A former Ultra he knows the culture well and what the Green Brigade is all about .
He believes Celtic are not interested in bringing back the Green Brigade to Celtic Park anytime soon. Ultras are not everyone’s cup of tea but Celtic need all the support they can get in the title run in. They back the team from the first whistle till the last and its not just about singing when you’re winning.
