Over 300 Celtic fans met today online at a meeting arranged by the Celtic Trust to discuss the current situation at Celtic and to discuss a long term strategy going forward. A statement from the Celtic Trust will be released later.
Anybody who was in attendance member or non-member had the opportunity to speak and raise their concerns about how the club is being run at moment and the boards lack of communication with the fan base who’s money they are using to fund the running of OUR football club.
The Trust works to unite small shareholders and give them a voice but it’s membership is open to shareholders and non-shareholders. Money from the membership yearly subs is used to purchase shares on behave of its members. Hence all members become shareholders.
The biggest threat to our CLUB will never come on the playing field it will come from OUR boardroom.
