Celtic are very good at doing their business in house and only leaking what they want to the press to know. I trust that Brendan is working hard on getting new players in. Many Celtic fans are frustrated at the lack of signing especially as we have not replaced Joe Hart.
Celtic knew that Joe Hart was leaving but yet no one has emerged to fill the role with the season only weeks away. Matt O’Riley has been linked with a move away to Leicester City and rumours continue to circulate around Bernardo and if his future lies in Portugal or Scotland.
As a fan base we are always hungry for news and you know its quiet on the Celtic news front when the only speculation today is about another jersey release and what it may look or not look like.
Is no news good news? Over the last few seasons as an independent fan media outlet we have been invited to press conferences when players have signed. Some of those players became first team regulars but many have been bench warmers or been put out on loan and been forgotten about.
Hopefully Brendan is looking for quality players who are better than what we have and can improve the first team rather than sign another player on the hope he can make an impact before punting him on for a profit.
Ange brought in players like Kyogo and Jota now it is time for the club to deliver the same quality to Brendan.
As fans we have played our part in buying our season books and we will be digging deep again for the 4 match Champions League package now we need the club to dig deep into their over flowing pockets and play their part in Celtic dominating domestically and showing the ambition to improve in Europe. Quality over Quantity Needed
