Life’ s a pain in the arse with this Covid-19, where once we were packing carry outs and sandwiches for the early bus to Aberdeen now we are killing time waiting for a noon kick-off. Walking dogs and cleaning kitchens.
It’s even worse when Celtic have a dark cloud hanging over them brought on by poor defending again today and mass hysteria from a section of our own fans who are micro-managing every move Neil Lennon makes even if he gets a job after he’s sacked at Celtic, which is leading to rumours and bullshit about Celtic players, training ground bust ups and even Lenny on the piss and turning up drunk FFS, give it a rest.
We dropped two points today, once again we had all the possession in the first half and failed to trouble the home goalkeeper and gave away a silly penalty to go in at half time 1-0 down.
Where once we were queuing for the portable loo after cramming into the corner of the ground to sing our hearts out for the bhoys and noise up the Aberdeen crew on the other side of the fence before wolfing down an Angus burger or a Pie and Bovril we now have social media awash with wannabe football managers. Get me back to games quick!
The second half was a mixed bag, shocking defending and we scored two really good goals from open play. But we should have seen the game out and brought 3 points down the road. Instead it’s 1 point.
Where once we were coming down the road with the rebs on and the cargo getting tanked win, lose or draw all we have to look forward to now is watching that smug face of Boyd smirking, while later checking out how the rangers are doing even if we pretend we don’t care.
After the game Neil Lennon did not sound like a manager that was under pressure but how long will that continue. Like so many Celtic fans I am not panicking just yet but I do wonder if things would be better if Neil Lennon had selected his own coaching staff but I suppose he knew the deal when confronted in the Hampden showers and handed the job by the ever silent Peter Lawell! Remember him?
We still have the Covid-19 trio and Forest, Mikey J and Jullien to return from injury. If we learned anything from today is that Shane Duffy needs to improve quickly he’s not down at Brighton now this is Celtic (Are you watching Gary Breen? ), Frimpong is no World beater and Diego gives you 100%.
Dreaming of someone shouting – Get the Rebs on Driver, a carry out and a bit of craic instead of having soulless social media to shout at as I go off my nut waiting for a vaccine which I will gladly volunteer to have two shots of it anytime if it means I can get back to going to see the Celtic.
