Celtic will travel to Paisley and Perth this week for games against St. Mirren and St. Johnstone. Two teams who sit mid-table and both teams also featured in the recent League Cup semi finals. St. Mirren going down 1-0 to Livingston after beating the Rangers in the quarter finals, while St. Johnstone beat Hibs 3-0 and now have a final to look forward to later in the month.

Sunday we are in McDiarmid Park for a midday kick off against St. Johnstone a game Sky will also broadcast. Without a midweek fixture the home side will have a week to prepare for Celtic after beating Livingston last weekend in a Cup final dress rehearsal. With Celtic’s poor form this season St. Johnstone will also be confident of a result, once we were the most feared team in Scotland but this season form and results have insured that there is no longer a fear factor when Celtic come calling.
