Brian Keenan Celtic Supporters Club, Carrickmacross celebrate their 25th Anniversary in 2026 and to mark the occasion they are hosting a Dinner Dance at the Shirley Arms Hotel on Saturday 28th of March.
Special guests on the night will be two players who roomed together during the Martin O’ Neill era former Celtic Captian Jackie McNamara and Goal Machine John Hartson. MC on the night will be Andrew Milne Editor of More than 90 Minutes and host of the Celtic Soul Podcast. Meet and Greet with John and Jackie in Nallo’s from 5pm, Dinner 7pm Sharp.
John was signed by O’Neill in 2001 and made his debut in a 1-0 win away to Kilmarnock He proved to be a super signing for the Celtic manager scoring over 100 goals including some very important ones against Liverpool and Celta Vigo on the road to Seville in 2003. He picked up 6 medals during his time in the Hoops.
Jackie Signed for Celtic in 1995. He made his debut against Falkirk and went on to play under a number of Celtic Managers winning a League Cup and stopping the 10 under Wim Jansen.
He won the League Cup under Kenny Dalglish and under Martin O’Neill he won the treble. The first treble by a Celtic manager since Jock Stein. More medals followed with O’Neill and he was part of the the team that took us to the Uefa Cup final in Seville.
