Celtic Football Club is delighted to announce Sead Hakšabanović has signed a five-year deal with the champions to become the seventh signing of the summer, subject to international clearance.
The 23-year signs from Rubin Kazan, having spent the last few months of the 2021/22 season on loan at Swedish side Djurgardens.
Born in Sweden, the attacker started his career in the country of his birth at Halmstads, before signing for English Premier League side West Ham United in 2017.
Leaving England to return to Sweden, Hakšabanović had impressive spells with IFK Norrköping before moving to Rubin Kazan.
Capped 28 times for Montenegro, the new No.9 becomes the first player from Montenegro to pull on the Hoops and he can’t wait to experience life as a Celtic player.
