The summer break from all things Celtic is almost over as the Euros enter the quarter final stages in Germany, Celtic minus their international stars return to action against Ayr United tomorrow night (Friday 06 July)

Ayr United are managed by Scott Brown, the game will give Brendan Rodgers another look at some of Celtic’s younger players and those on the fringes of the first team. The game kicks off at Somerset Park at 19:45 and will be shown on Celtic TV

Double winner Adam Idah future at Celtic FC still remains in limbo. Celtic’s bid for the Cup Final goal scoring hero to Norwich estimated somewhere between £4 / £5 million has been as expected knocked back by the English Club.

Since we brought out our Summer Special More than 90 Minutes Celtic Fanzine, we all have had time to digest the SPFL fixtures as Ibrox crumbles and the rangers remain homeless as the season fast approaches.

We have also this week heard of the sad news of the wife of Tommy Burns, Rosemary’s sudden death which followed on from the death of Celtic saviour John Keane. We would like to offer our condolences to both families at this very sad time. Full tributes in the next issue of the fanzine.
