BRING ON THE RANGERS

news
31 March 2024

Celtic fans were in fine voice after the 3-0 win on the road earlier today. It could have been more if Celtic had been awarded a penalty for a foul on Kyogo. Once again we are talking about a referee getting it wrong this time the culprit is Don Robertson and who ever was asleep on VAR.

Reo Hatate returned to the starting 11 after his latest injury lay off. He got an hour under his belt and will surly now start against the rangers alongside our captain Callum McGregor who was not risked on the plastic pitch.

Livingston now look doomed to relegation and we won’t miss their plastic pitch but we will miss their generous away ticket allocation at a time when other SPFL club’s are cutting ticket allocations  for Celtic fans.

Brendan Rodgers served his 1 match ban from the dugout and took his seat in the stand but will be happy with a dominant performance from his team who were coached from the side-line by John Kennedy.

The Tony Macaroni Stadium was bouncing with Celtic fans taking over 3 of the 4 stands and they paid tribute to the heroes of Easter 1916 with a display.

Celtic scored 3 second half goals to complete a clean sweep against the home side this season in the league and Scottish Cup.
