Bobby and Didier will be forever remembered for that famous victory in Amsterdam when Celtic beat Ajax 3-1 with both players scoring on that famous night under Martin O’Neill’s guidance in his first Champions League game.
Bobby put one of his best performances for Celtic in the 6-2 win at Celtic Park. So outstanding was Petta’s performance that new Rangers signing Fernando Ricksen was substituted after just 25 minutes.
