CELTIC FANS UNITED IN BACKING THE TEAM

news
12 September 2025

I listened with interest on Wednesday to the speakers from different supporters clubs and representatives from associations and fan media. There were different views expressed but the outcome was unity between all the fan groupings.

I still believe the best way forward is the Celtic Trust and the voting of small shareholders together. The aim is to get 5% of shares so that fans then have the power to call an EGM.

Some Celtic fans will be inside Rugby Park for kick off while I expect the majority to stay outside until the 12thminute. When all the fans come together on the 12th minute I expect the roof to raised off the stadium by Celtic fans and back the team.

The most important thing on Sunday is a win for the bhoys and another 3 points in the bag. Brendan Rodgers will have had time to work with the players who were not on international duty. We have drawn a blank in our last 3 games so all eyes will be on those leading the line for the Celtic.

Defensively we have been solid all season and I expect that to continue on Sunday and we will all be hoping to see some goals which we have missed. Rangers fan John Beaton is the referee so we won’t be relying on any favours from him.

Celtic go into the weekend fixtures top of the table with 3 wins and 1 draw while Kilmarnock sit mid table in the SPFL after 4 draws.

Kick off is 3pm and the game will be shown on Sky Sports and streamed outside Ireland and the UK on Celtic TV.
