Charlie was the pride of the Glasgow Irish, A Gorbals Bhoy of Gweedore stock. A Lisbon Lion, a Celtic Legend, Irish International and the first player to pull on the Green of Ireland who was born outside the country.

He was always very modest about his achievements and a complete Gentleman who will be missed by all.
